Welcome

Welcome to St. Luke Lutheran Church and Lutheran Campus Ministry. We are a church that takes its mission to remind the world of God’s unyielding love very seriously. You can read our welcome statement by clicking here, but the short version is that all are welcome without exception.

If you are interested in joining us for Sunday worship, all you need to do is show up. Just as you are, no need to fuss. Some folks come in jackets and dresses, others in shorts and t-shirts. Some are lifelong Lutherans while others are not sure what they believe. We have seekers, spiritual and not religious, people that know all the motions, and some that are not even sure of what Christians do. Learn more about St. Luke and our mission to Collegetown, Ithaca, and the world. If you are looking for a church home, we hope to be that place for you, if you are just passing through we wish you Godspeed on your journey.

No matter how you come, no matter who you are, you are a loved and cherished child of God.

Our Sunday service is at 10:00 am in person or you can join us via Zoom or Facebook. We celebrate Holy Communion (or what Martin Luther preferred to call it, The Lord’s Supper) every Sunday. The table is open because it is not ours, it is the table of Christ and our theology tells us that all are welcome without exception.

You can find the bulletin for our upcoming service HERE and view previous services HERE.

If you are looking for a quiet evening service of chanted song and prayer, we host Compline every Thursday night during the academic year at 8:30 pm. It is a contemplative time to sit in candlelight and let the worries of the day wash away, if even for a brief half-hour. We have fellowship afterwards.

Let us know how we can welcome you!

And remember, God loves YOU!
