Pastor Laurie Carson has recently come on board as co-pastor at St. Luke. She shares lots of ministry with children, youth, and families as well as some campus ministry and other pastor-y stuff.

Pastor Laurie has a B.S. in Environmental Science from Long Island University, a Master of Divinity from Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg, PA, and a Certificate in Youth Ministry from the same spectacular institution. She has served as pastor and interim in several congregations, and as Youth Coordinator for the Upstate New York Synod. Currently she's serving on the decision table for ELCA Youth & Young Adult Ministries Grants.

She is passionate about faith formation for all ages, Biblical storytelling, and LGBTQ ministry. She loves anything related to the outdoors and is also a big fan of whales.
