This is a collaborative effort between Gayogohó:nǫ˺ traditional citizens and solidarity groups to support justice for the original People of this land.

What: Gathering to Support the Gayogohó:nǫ˺ Legal Defense Fund

When: February 4th, 2:30-5:30 pm

Where: Foundation of Light, 391 Turkey Hill Rd, Ithaca NY

What: film showing, panel of speakers, traditional food, Indigenous craft vendors, children’s activities, raffles, storytelling, music, and dancing

Why: Celebrate the Gayogohó:nǫ˺ Legal Defense Fund’s 1st fundraising campaign

This event will be a celebration of Gayogohó:nǫ˺ cultural beauty, peace, and generosity and an opportunity to learn and connect. Suggested minimum donation at the door $15-25- no one will be turned away. Proceeds support the legal team defending the Gayogohó:nǫ˺ traditional people’s ongoing struggle for sovereignty and rematriation.
